A Heartfelt Thanks for our Autumn Fair
Autumn Fair Reflections
Our Autumn Fair was a beautiful expression of community in action, blessed with glorious sunshine that allowed the day to unfold with ease and joy.
There was a warmth across the school grounds that was both uplifting and deeply affirming, with spaces filled with colour, music and conversation and a shared sense of purpose.

The musical offerings throughout the day added a particularly special quality to the fair. The concerts were heartfelt and uplifting. Eurythmy on the front lawn brought a sense of harmony and quiet beauty that resonated deeply.
These moments invited us to pause and experience something of the deeper life of the school.

I would especially like to acknowledge our students, whose presence and contributions brought the fair to life in such a genuine way. In the lead up, many were involved in preparing crafts, food and offerings with care and intention. On the day, they stepped forward with confidence and enthusiasm, supporting stalls, performing, helping one another and engaging fully in the experience. It was a joy to see them take their place so naturally within the life of the community.

My sincere thanks also go to our teachers and staff. The fair is not a single day’s work, but the culmination of many hours of thoughtful preparation, organisation and collaboration.
From classroom activities and creative preparations to the countless practical tasks that ensure everything runs smoothly, your commitment and spirit are deeply appreciated.

We are also very grateful to our Autumn Fair Committee, who for the second year have held and guided this work with care, clarity and dedication.
The many volunteer hours given, often quietly and behind the scenes, form the foundation upon which such a day can come into being. Their contribution to the life of the school is significant and valued.
To our families and wider community, thank you for your presence, your support and your willingness to be part of this shared experience. It is through these moments that the true spirit of our school is revealed.

Thank you to you all!
Natalie Jensen, Sophia Mundi Principal
A Heartfelt Thanks
Dear community,
There was something quietly extraordinary about the Autumn Fair - something that lived beyond the visible, beyond the stalls and laughter and music.
It was a felt sense, a gentle undercurrent that moved through the day and touched each person in its own unique way.
Fair day felt paced and authentic in its unfoldment. Fair goers wandered rather than hurried, paused rather than passed by. Time seemed to soften, stretch, and settle. People commented on this again and again - that rare and precious feeling of calm, of not needing to be anywhere other than exactly where they were.

The air itself seemed to carry a connection. Music drifted with grace, not demanding attention but inviting presence. It wove through conversations, laughter, and quiet moments, creating a sense of harmony that held the whole space together. There was a rhythm to the day - one that felt human, grounded, and deeply nourishing.
And then there was the heart of it all: connection. Not loud or performative, but genuine. You could see it in the way people greeted one another, in shared smiles, in hands exchanging goods and stories with equal care. There was a warmth that felt inclusive, as though everyone belonged - because they did.
Beauty was everywhere, but not in a showy way. It lived in the handmade, the thoughtful, the intentional. In the textures, the colours, and the small details crafted with care. It was the kind of beauty that doesn’t overwhelm, but instead invites you closer. The kind that nourishes.
This is the essence of a Sophia Mundi whole school community event. A lovingly handcrafted environment where head, heart, and hands are in quiet conversation with one another. Where children and adults alike can breathe a little deeper and feel a little more whole.
And what lingers now is not just the memory of the day, but the imprint it leaves behind. Each person carries it differently ~ a moment of stillness, a conversation, a song, a feeling. Something subtle yet lasting.
The Autumn Fair did not just happen around us. It moved through us, settled within us, and in its own gentle way, became part of us
With deepest gratitude to each and everyone.

One of the most exciting moments of the year - school camp! We thank Adrien Picot for organising each and every camp, and providing the students with adventures and stories they will remember forever.

Stalls and Markets
From drinks to baked goods, handmade trinkets to second hand treasure, thank you to all who helped bring the markets to life.

Crafts
Many rounds of applause for the craft store! The P&F Craft group had been hard at work sewing, weaving, and felting so many characters and creations for the Fair. Lead by the lovely Nikki, the group's magical creations are now brightening up many homes across the city.
