Presented by Dr Lakshmi Prasanna: “The gift of sleep for healthy child development.”
Creating sound sleep patterns is a fundamental building block for healthy human development. Join us at the first Gabriel Talk for 2015 to hear Dr Lakshmi Prasanna talk about what happens when we sleep.
Dr Allamsetty Lakshmi Prasanna is a paediatrician working from Rudolf Steiner’s picture of human development. In this talk she will share her deep understanding of the physiology of sleep from an Anthroposophical perspective. She will consider tools to help children sleep better and address today’s challenges of sensory stimulation and how it disturbs sleep patterns in children.
Dr Prasanna works with Steiner schools across India, Australia and New Zealand. She is passionate about sharing knowledge about child development with parents and teachers and believes that this will help us to serve children in a better way.
