The sun shone upon us and we experienced perfect weather for our Inter-School Athletics day! The participating schools included Melbourne Rudolf Steiner School, Little Yarra and Sophia Mundi. Our students stood out in their new blue uniforms and although our numbers are relatively small, a number of our students demonstrated both exceptional skill and heart. Some stand-out achievements included:
Lucia La Terra (Class 9): 1st in her 100m, 200m and 400m heats, 1st in the 800m and 3rd in the high jump.
Akina Bott (Class 9): 1st in her 200m heat, 3rd in the 100m heat, 1st in triple jump, 2nd in long jump and 4th in high jump.
Dante Lacota (Class 7) was “streets ahead” of the competition with 1st place in the 100m and 200m heats and 1st in both high jump and shot put.
Jasper Hanna-Roberts (Class 9): 1st place in the 800m, 2nd place in the 1500m, 1st in high jump and 2nd in both high jump and shot put.

Many other students also achieved outstanding results….the list is too long to mention! So, well done to everyone!
I would also like to say a very big thank you to the staff (Lukas, Ben, Robert, Tom, Anneke and Melchior) and students (Donal, Jolie and Zoe) whom supported the day!
