At Sophia Mundi Steiner School, we welcome students from different cultures and backgrounds. We celebrate the diversity and global perspectives that our international friends bring to our community.
As an IB World School, we offer the unique combination of a Steiner Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. This educational offering marries the richness of Steiner education to Year 10, with the IB in Years 11 & 12 contributing an internationally recognised benchmark qualification. International students will find Sophia Mundi to be an enriching and supportive environment where they will experience a sense of belonging.
Currently, we have the ability to enrol students who hold the following Visa types:
1. Visitor Visa (see Cultural/Short Term Visit page)
or, are the dependent children of a parent who holds a
2. Temporary Work (Skilled) Visa (subclass 457) or;
3. Student Visa (subclass 500)
Please note that for Temporary Work and Student Visa’s, the parent must be the primary Visa holder.
We are pleased to advise that children of a parent who holds a Temporary Work (Skilled) Visa (subclass 457) are invoiced for school fees in the same way as a Permanent Resident.
Additional tuition fees apply to the dependent children of a parent who holds a Student Visa (subclass 500). Please contact the firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
At this time, we are unable to accept enrolments where the prospective student is the primary Visa holder. Sophia Mundi is working with Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) to become CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students) registered. Successful registration will allow us recruit, enrol and teach overseas students who are intending to study in Australia on a Student Visa.
This page will be updated when more information regarding our CRICOS Registration becomes available. For more information, contact the email@example.com
