Expressions of Interest

Sophia Mundi Steiner School invites expressions of interest from passionate and high performing primary and secondary teachers who are seeking new employment opportunities in the coming year.

We would like to hear from you if you would love to work at our wonderful school!

We are particularly keen to hear from teachers with qualifications and experience in Special Education, or with Information Technology or Mathematics teaching methods.  Training in Steiner Education or experience teaching the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is preferred, but by no means essential for the roles we anticipate over the coming years.

As specific vacancies arise we will review all expressions of interest and contact you should we require further information regarding your suitability.  Sophia Mundi generally advertise vacancies on this page, the SEA website and other sites as appropriate to the position.

We are also looking for Steiner-trained teachers to join our CRT list.  Please let us know if you are interested.

Please direct all expressions of interest to the Principal

Sophia Mundi Steiner School is committed to child safety.

Our School is a place where children are nurtured and supported so that they can develop their latent capacities and grow into well-rounded human beings.  We are committed to the safety, participation and empowerment of all children.  All staff and volunteers have an important role to play in providing an environment where students can thrive.

We are committed to the cultural safety of all of our children, including those from culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds.  We also commit to provide a safe environment for children with a disability.

Sophia Mundi has zero tolerance of child abuse.  All allegations and safety concerns will be treated seriously and consistently within our policies and procedures.

All staff and volunteers must abide by our Child Safety Code of Conduct.  We promote diversity and tolerance in our organization, and people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds are welcome.  Detailed reference checks form part of our recruitment process which may also include police checks.  We ensure that all persons working at our school hold a Working with Children Check.
