Class 8 students by day, Thespians by night! After weeks of rehearsal, on Thursday evening we were treated to the much anticipated Sophia Mundi Class 8 performance of Shakespeare’s, The Tempest. Families, friends and staff gathered in our newly landscaped school courtyard on what was a perfect Spring evening, the sky overhead full of stars and moonlight (and fruit bats). Over more than an hour, each of the performers delivered dynamic, dramatic and personal interpretations of their character, highlighted by moments of laughter and hilarity. Tirelessly supported by their English Teacher, Tom Redwood and Class Guardian Ben Darby, the students transformed into confident and articulate young performers both entertaining and impressing the audience with their energy. Congratulations and thank you to you all for a memorable evening!
