Sophia Mundi also offers a career related certificate alongside the IB graduating pathway. In 2012 this is a Vocational Education & Training (VET) course with an approved external provider, in conjunction with a number of the IB subjects.
Sophia Mundi is also planning to offer the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) in future years. The VCAL is an accredited senior secondary qualification undertaken in Years 11 and 12. It is based on hands-on learning, also known as applied learning.
There are four compulsory strands of study for the program - Literacy and Numeracy Skills, Industry Specific Skills, Work Related Skills, Personal Development Skills. As part of the Industry Specific Skills, students may undertake a Vocational Education & Training (VET) course. For 2012, this would be with an approved external provider.
