Fostering a lifetime of friendship and learning
To Our valued Alumni
Sophia Mundi was established in 1985 and now – 30 years later – has a substantial number of Alumni. Since 2011, Sophia Mundi is one of only four schools world-wide offering a full K-10 Steiner Curriculum blended with a Year 11/12 International Baccalaureate Diploma. Many of our students still keep in touch and the School hopes to have a formal inauguration of our Alumni group in the future. This would be an exciting step for our School and a highlight in our School calendar.
Once graduated, Sophia Mundi students have moved out into the world and made their way into diverse walks of life. Some work or live around the world, some still call Melbourne home. Some have their own families and some are returning to Sophia Mundi as parents. It is inspiring for the School to hear all the individual stories and to celebrate how everyone has grown through their endeavours.
Sophia Mundi graduates have completed Bachelors and higher degrees in a range of areas including: Arts (Photography and Film making), Applied Multi-Media and Design, Homeopathy, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Philosophy, Resort Management, Teaching, Social Sciences, Social Work and Sound Engineering. Others have gone on to successful careers through apprenticeships and different workplaces that suit their talents. We know that each individual has their own story.
Sophia Mundi is a community of students, staff and parents and so our alumni include past students, parents, teachers and staff. If you would like to receive information about the Alumni Association, future School or Alumni events or to simply keep in contact with the School, please fill in the Alumni Sign up Form to be added to our Alumni News list.
