Craft Curriculum Course for Adults
In this course we make many of the articles that the students make
during craft lessons in a Steiner school. Because our education,
in all its aspects, centres on the child’s developing consciousness,
we can see links between the handwork and other curriculum. These
links will also be explored. The course offers some insights into
and discussion about the general philosophy and attitudes in a Steiner
School. Taken for the full year, this course could qualify a state-trained
teacher for craft teaching in a Steiner school. However, no previous
teaching or craft experience is necessary. The course is also suitable
for those not interested in teaching but wishing to learn for their
own interest.
Times Afternoon course Tuesdays 1.30-3.00pm Evening course Tuesdays
